Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 10am. If you would like a later departure, or somewhere to leave your bags before an evening flight, just ask us in advance and we will usually sort it out — it depends on space and on who is arriving after you, and a much later check-out can carry a small charge because it holds the apartment. We will agree a pick-up time when we arrange it, and your bags wait indoors, though they are left at your own risk.

Yes — one dedicated off-street space per apartment, right at your own entrance, at no charge. A second space is sometimes available on request. Larger vehicles — cars with trailers, campervans, small trucks — usually park at the Torbay Sailing Club carpark about 50 m away, through Aickin Reserve; that carpark is not ours, so the club’s conditions apply.

Very much so: each apartment has two bedrooms sleeping four, a full kitchen and laundry, a garden to play in, and a safe swimming beach two minutes' walk away.

Yes. Many guests stay for weeks or months — for school terms, long holidays or working visits. Ask us about weekly rates.

Yes. The two apartments sit side by side under one roof, and each sleeps four across two bedrooms, so together they take up to eight with doors to close — a couple and two children in one, the grandparents in the other. Families here for a wedding at Torbay Sailing Club — a hundred metres along the sand — or elsewhere in Torbay, Long Bay or Browns Bay, a reunion, or a long summer visit do exactly this. The minimum stay is two nights; for a week or more we quote a weekly rate. Book each apartment online, or email us your dates and we will hold the two together.

Linen and towels, gigabit fibre WiFi throughout, free off-street parking, the fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, a 65" Smart TV, your private spa bath, and use of the shared outdoor spa pool — the whole apartment is yours. Stays of a week or more include weekly housekeeping.

Yes — as well as the private spa bath in each apartment, there's an outdoor spa pool in the fenced front yard, right in front of the apartments, shared by the two apartments and heated all year round. It seats six, with a full-length lounger, so it's a lovely way to end a beach day or warm up after a winter walk. Children are welcome with an adult.

Our apartments are fully self-contained with complete kitchens, and we welcome you with tea, coffee and a few treats to get you started. For a cooked breakfast out, Torbay's cafés are just around the corner.

About two minutes on foot — Waiake Beach, with safe swimming and the Tor just offshore.

The bus takes about 40 minutes, and there's free parking here if you drive.
